BOW, clothes hanger
The clothes hanger BOW was designed as a result of the HEMA design contest 2003, for which entry the designer recieved an honourable mention.
A plastic strip is the basis of the design. The flexible strip is provided with a double curved surface which stiffens the unit. The used plastic can easily be provided with a print.
The design consists of two parts. The consumer can easily assemble the clothes hanger. This means that the hanger can be sold unassembled in a little package.
The jury's opinion: "BOW is based on a different and new concept: bending plastic into a shape so a clothes hanger is created."
